1. Service description
InstaViewer fetches material published to everyone by Instagram accounts and presents it on this site when you ask for it. The service is free of charge, with no sign-up. The service runs on a best-effort basis. Two outside systems, Instagram and a data provider, sit in the chain and are beyond our control; as a result a lookup can fail, a story can lapse while you are reading it, and any function can be altered or withdrawn at short notice. Continued use of InstaViewer means you accept this document.
2. Uses that are not permitted
When using InstaViewer, you must not:
- collect data from the site with bots, crawlers or scripts;
- try to reach content on accounts that are set to private;
- use downloaded files so as to infringe copyright or other people’s rights;
- monitor, intimidate or threaten another person with the help of the service;
- generate traffic heavy enough to degrade the service for others;
- describe InstaViewer as run, backed or approved by Instagram or by Meta.
Breaching this section can lead to access being suspended.
3. No warranty
InstaViewer is supplied without guarantees of any kind: results may be incomplete, out of date or temporarily missing. Where the applicable law permits it, the operator is not answerable for harm that follows from using InstaViewer or from its downtime. Consumer rights that your country treats as non-waivable remain unaffected.
4. Content owned by third parties
Posted media is owned by the account that published it, not by InstaViewer. No copy of it is retained by InstaViewer, which means removal can only take effect on Instagram. The removal procedure sets out both ways, together with the handling of copyright notices.
5. Revisions
This document can be amended. The date shown above records the most recent change; further use of InstaViewer from that date signals acceptance of the changed text.
